Workshops for non-designers and entrepreneurs


Type Tasting workshops are fun, highly interactive and suitable for all levels. They take the point of view of the type consumer, and show how this approach can enable everybody to feel more confident choosing and combining fonts, without needing to become an expert graphic designer.

Games might include ‘The Price is Right’, the ‘Typographic Coffee Predictor’, ‘Type Karaoke’ and a tasting element with a drink or edible sample can be incorporated into the session.

Activity-packed one-hour workshops have been held at the launch of Bumble Bizz, for the BBC Bristol away-day, for the London Design Festival, and at a range of events and festivals.
