Mass participation workshops and installations


The Monotype Lounge at Design Thinkers Toronto was filled with Font Selfies and edible type recipes, which accompanied Sarah's talk at the conference. Around 300 pieces were created over the two days, and the display was shared widely on social media. “What a great activity for such a creative bunch”.

Type Tasting curates mass participation typography-based creativity workshops that build up into a growing display. These are often a part of an event or conference, giving visitors and delegates the opportunity to be creative and participate in the event.

Mass participation events have also been created at:
• Pick Me Up at Somerset House, London
• South by Southwest (SXSW), Austin, Texas
• V&A for the London Design Festival

The next mass participation event will take place at the Vuoden Huiput Festival in Helsinki, Finland.
