Multi-Sensory Thinking

From Design Thinking to Multi-Sensory Thinking.
Because experience is more than what we see.

Design Thinking unlocked human-centred design with empathy, iteration and prototyping. Multi-Sensory Thinking is the next step.

It’s human-centred design for all the senses. It encompasses the full richness of human perception, emotion and memory.

Multi-Sensory Thinking is a process that can be applied to the work you do.

I’m Sarah Hyndman, I’ve spent the last 12 years using this process to explore typography. I’ve also interviewed leading experts working in the crossmodal, multi-sensory and design world for the Seeing Senses podcast.

Now we’re putting together a report. This will outline the key pillars of the process for you to use. This is also the foundation for the Seeing Senses book.

You can also book a talk or workshop with Sarah Hyndman. She will show you and your team how to apply Multi-Sensory Thinking as a process.

“It leads to stories that stick. It makes it real and tangable.”
Amy Daroukakis, co-founder of The Culture Connectors.
